My family needed to be outfitted for a mountain biking excursion. Outstanding assistance from knowledgeable personnel. In addition to waiting while I switched sizes and being truly patient (since I was carrying my little son), the young woman working at the front counter was incredibly helpful in contacting other branches to obtain exactly what I needed. Strongly advise visiting this store.

funds taken and no goods received

On 1/12/21 i made a purchase online of $360 and funds were processed however no confirmation email was received regarding the order. 5 emails and 4 phones later over the last 8 days and the situation remains unresolved. i am out of pocket and have no goods. customer service is absolutely terrible. do not recommend

Bought an 80litre Oztrail dual zone fridge. Next day unboxed it and tried it out at home. Left compartment not working, no problem I call up anaconda Highett and speak to a young lady. She says bring it in, they have 9 in stock and “we can replace it”. Great. So I put the fridge and packaging in my car and drive the 10 minutes there. Meanwhile it’s 17:45 so 15 minutes to closing that’s why I rushed there.

Upon entry to store, the acting manager, I don’t know her name says it’s a warranty claim and need to check it out for 2 weeks meaning I’ve parted with my $700 and will have no fridge for 2 weeks while they “test it”

I literally just unboxed the item. If I used it and it failed, fine. But turning it on first time and it doesn’t work, you’ve sold me a faulty item. Not your fault I understand, just get me another. Nope. Even after being told by a young lady on the phone to come and they will replace it.

So clearly I was angry told them this is bullshit. A new guy who thought he was some sort of bouncer came and asked me to leave the store or he would call the police. I said please call the police. I’ll wait. At no time did I threaten or abuse anyone. I was angry but always in control and it was always about the fridge. This guy Alex is a joke. Thought he was running the door at some Eastern European discotheque. Please mate call the cops. Wanka

Went to my local Anaconda store 21/5/22 10am been a long time customer since they opened in bayswater Victoria I went to buy a prospecting shovel as well as 2 gold monster 1000 an 2 equinox 800 detectors ask a female staff member for help she just wave her hands in the air and the look I got as she mumbled that I cannot repeat her was negative because I was taking her away from loading up a shelf I was not impressed with her attitude attitude. So I left the store and went to the miners den in Mitchum vic who got the sale for $4.5k of equipment will never go back to this store again.

Faulty item on purchase wont replace

So i pay $900 on a minelab detector get home open box only to discover its a faulty unit, i call the store they say bring it back we will send to minelab get it repaired. Umm no its not even a day old it was faulty out of the box so i want what i paid for a working detector but they refuse i am to drive 90 mins back to anaconda to return it for them to send off to minelab. Not good enough. Never shopping there again they don't care about the customers.

I entered the Mackay store today 7-9-2020 to order a part and was told that they are stocktaking and that the order cannot be taken. In what business does stocktaking shut your services down. If this is the case then they should have closed the doors.

While I have no problem with the staff, I am feeling ripped off. Yesterday (Monday 16th March) I was just having a browse and saw the boat seats on special for $39, came home so my husband could go online to see if they would be good for our boat, (still on special) decided we would get one as well as two other things on special, I took pics of these so they could direct me in the right place (showing time and date it was in catalogue) had to pay $70 more. After thinking about this and feeling I should just return them because I feel it’s false advertising.. Not happy at all, everything still unopened in the car. Can this be done?
