SPECIALS
City where company is located (optional): BUNDABERG CENTRAL

I am 80 years old. I wanted to buy 2 boxes of sugarless soft drink when I shopped last Thursday (pension day). I was informed that I had to shop on the weekend to get the special..a difference of $10 per pack and l wanted 2. I was informed by Steven that I couldn't l have them at the special price until the weekend. I first shopped at this store when it was not owned by IGA. (30 years ago).
This morning I went to get the drinks and naturally they were all GONE. To make matters worse my breathing is bad and the legs don't work well. I didn't realise this shop doesn't open until 8am on Sundays. In the time I sat outside (from 7am) 11 cars, one pushbilke rider and a motorbike rider all left. Outside with me sat 8 people between 60 and 80. So much custom was lost. To make it worse I got soaked going home on my disability scooter. This town is built on the elderly and disabled. Wake up IGA. I am very disappointed . The staff on the other hand are beautiful people, many I've known for a very long time. STOP THE GREED AND THINK OF OTHERS INSTEAD OF THE BANK BALANCE.

non specials

This store never has specials that are advertised. this is not the first time. It seems the dairy products also OMO and drinks. The soft drinks are a IGA brand but they don't hold it. If they trade under the banner of IGA why don't they sell their products.

Staff - Products
City where company is located (optional): Sydney - East Lindfield - IGA

I hope someone in a top level consider my review and make a change and improve it. (27 Lindfield Ave – NSW 2070).
It is about the staff in this store. They are not friendly especially those who works as cashiers (those staff who mostly wear navy and black uniform – it seems they are in a top level of the store or they are managers!). They staring at you and look at you and your bag like you a thief. When you give them a comment or notify them about the issue of the product, they normally do not say sorry and look at you like that you a liar.
They have different products in the store which are expired. When you tell them they ignore your comment and they put them in shelf again. It is absolutely shameful. I really do not know where these behaviour and culture come from?! The customer service is not good and we are not satisfied at all. I am not sure if any training session have been provided and considered about ethical behaviour, ethical thinking and responsibilities.
That is absolutely shameful.
I wish someone consider my comments and improve it. Also, I wish lockdown will be eased as soon as possible to go and shop from the other stors…

This is the third time I have left there with products not scanning correctly. This time I pulled them up on it and they just deduced the amount when I know you are suppose to as a customer if the price has been scanned incorrectly, you are entitled to receive it for free. It has been on the local community group on Facebook that this has been happening in the area at IGA. Who polices this? I'm taking it further if I'm not contacting by IGA customer service about this.
