Traveling on Qantas is always enjoyable. I recently had to travel to Sydney on work, but because of their self-serve check-in and bag drop, I didn't have to wait in line. After a few difficulties, everything went well and my boarding pass was scanned by the bag drop
Received credit vouchers for 2 tickets in 2020 - valid until 2023. Went to use in Aug 2022 and not able to use. Spoke to Qantas and they said would convert into a refund payable in 5-7 days. Given 2 new reference numbers. No refund 3 weeks later so called again late Sept 2022 and this time told 'refunds take 6-8 weeks', Still no refund by end Nov 2022 so called again and given email to send all details too. Also told I would be contacted on my mobile within 24-28 hours for an update. Still heard nothing and no refund. Now spent another hour on the phone to another operator who seems equally as clueless a the last few and the solution is to 'give me new reference numbers' as the previous ones have been closed off despite no refund being received. I have completely lost my patience with being polite and feel like it is just one big run around to get me off the phone and keep MY money! I do not know how Alan Joyce and the employees of Qantas can live with themselves when they are keeping other people's money and just fobbing us off with false/misleading information with each call?? Rating ZERO stars but not giving me that option
I have been left at 2 different airports as a business frequent flyer for more that 8 hours within a 2 week period . I have tried contacting Qantas multiple time with not even a response or call back and hung up twice when being on hold for over 1 hour. Tis is the thanks we get for sticking with Australian brand Qantas?
Qantas sent an employee a notification that her flight was delayed (this had a flow on for the connection flight) . Nothing else, no recomendations, no emergency contact no. etc. . She could not speak to anyone from qantas . Fortunately she was able to contact her home office and we sorted the issue from here in Australia. This has happened several time in recent months .
It WAS company policy to fly qantas . NO more as we are altering that instruction immeadiately . Qantas you have damaged your brand beyond recognition . I sincerely hope your bottom line was worth it!
Tried for 3 days to talk with someone waited on average 1.5 hours each time. Got 2 call backs where they put me on hold for over 10mins then hung up the line. Still waiting for a resolution to the flight THEY cancelled
One of the worst airline, Once you book it you are trapped, you can change or contact the customer care
I have just tried for the 3rd time to talk to someone at Qantas regarding a credit we should get due to them cancelling a flight back in July 2021. This time is waited on the phone for 31/2 hours and got through to a person who couldn’t help me. They put me through to another department and the phone hung up. Absolutely cranky with their customer service.
I have been stuck in Darwin against my will due to domestic violence and a mate booked me a flight home it was all paid for had my itinerary i got to check in snd they cancelled my flight Saying it was a fraudulent transaction i am now stuck and cant get honest help disgusting no stars most disgusting service in Australia i am taking them to court and the media
Third complaint, first two totally ignored.
I booked through Qantas out of loyalty, never again.
Before I departed for Melbourne from Auckland, my wife's flight was rescheduled twice. Understandable considering the current climate.
However, I tried many times and countless hours trying to ring the customer number trying to get clarification. The phone was never answered.
I am now in the same position. Trying to get home. I spent 4 hours on the phone trying to find when my flight would be rescheduled. Again. No answer.
On speaking to fellow kiwis in the same position but with Air Nz, the most they have had to wait is an hour and a half.
I do not believe you have any intention of answering calls. Are your profits so precious you cant pay to have extra staff answering calls, or have a call back service.
You have ruined our trip, and I will say the same on social media.
