On the one bright holiday day, I thought it would be a great idea to go kayaking in the Raby Bay Canals. However, I had an unplanned swim and lost my phone and car key, which prevented me from getting into the car or calling for help.
I contacted RACQ, and within 45 minutes, a roadside technician named Jack arrived to assist me. He helped me get into the car and found out how to start it, allowing me to arrive home in time for the New Year's Eve festivities.
Excellent service, would definitely suggest.

I was involved in an accident (no fault of my own) with a person insured by RACQ. They lost the quote I got from their panelbeater, etc.

As mentioned I was involved in an accident (no fault of my own) with a person insured with RACQ. They lost the quote (and it now appears like it's delayed), then after three months of wrangling, cancelled the incident number when I complained. They have now ceased contact and it appears that I'll have to get a lawyer to push through a repair on something where the other person freely admits that they were at fault (they ran up the back of my car). If you are reading this RACQ - I will be complaining in quite a few forums and through various government departments.
