I went to the Cairns Branch with my parents to transfer some money to an account with another company, however we were not able to complete the transaction. They assisted us and clarified what we had to do to accomplish this in a successful way. We also managed to set up an interest-saving account, and the woman who assisted us was outstanding. The best bank service I've ever had.
Withdraw at ATM machine, no money did'nt come out. Lodge a complain 45days process. So i csn't pay bills & medicine till 45days. Apparently even it's St G eorge ATM machine they don't handle/manage ir's different ag e ncy.
At the end of May I tried to close my maxi saver account. The first gentleman told me he would transfer my balance to my devonport bank. One week later on 28th May this had not happened. I rang again and the lady said she would close account and send a bank cheque. On 12th June I still had not received money and rang st George again. I spoke to Adrian, then was passed to Lachlan and was put on hold for over 15 minutes. I finally hung up and rang AGAIN! This time I spoke to Paul who was very helpful and he said the account was still open and active and he then informed mehe would close the account and forward a bank cheque. Thank god for Paul!!! Terrible service to think it took from 21st May to the 12th June for what should have been a fairly simple transaction. I hope my bank cheque arrives next week or I will be in touch again. Poor service.
I had the best experience at a bank could possibely give by a staff (Wiseley). We had a problem with payout fund that we could not comprehend.
