Really happy with Westpac's ability to locate and recover money that we misplaced in a fraud. Although they weren't at fault—that was ours—they managed to get our money from the scammer's account and work with another bank to get it back to us in less than a day. We appreciate you very much, as it was a big financial transaction!
The current share buyback proposal is ridiculous. Why didnt westpac go with an on market buyback or a special dividend. The only people who benefit are non tax payers. Good luck with obtaining in excess of an 8% discount on the buyback.
I would like to give 0 stars. This company"s so-called Integrity and Ethics, I would like to question, We had a storm rip of awning structure from the house and bash against our son's car and boat and I am told Sorry they have to go through their own insurance company as although they do cover the house damage, they don't do not cover vehicles damage by the house. As if the duty of care, humanity, doing the right thing, Integrity and honour do not exist. This is why people don't trust banks or Insurance company. Is it not the honourable thing to do to repair what damage your house caused to other peoples property and is not car another person's property. Hiding behind the work of God is a pathetic excuse. Still very disappointed and horrified. I was sure that they would have my back. Don't expect these people to take care of you. All false advertising in my experience.
The Credit Card Dispute Team (Jenny and Manager Claudia) with Westpac Bank would have to be the worst team to communicate with and they are not very friendly. I'm wandering why these people are employed by the Bank to be rude and disrespectful to customers.
