No contact or delivery of purchased goods for over a month. Once i cancelled the order, i was assured a refund within 24hrs, a week later zero!

The most horrific customer disservice I've ever had the misfortune to experience. Over a month had passed since i paid over $250 for an order, without a single word, bit of information regarding any possible or foreseeable delays, and 3 times of failed attempts to contact anyone by phone, simply rang out or went to an automated message advising that GSD was currently unavailable, i managed to find an email address where i allegedly could request to find out the status of my order.
The reply, verbatim, stated the following: Majority of the orders will be dispatched from our warehouse within seven to ten working days. Please allow up to an additional seven working days for Australia Post to deliver your order. I've waited x3 longer and no products received. Furthermore, i should "Rest assured though, we are trying our best to minimize the delay as much as possible to reduce your trouble...If you have further queries, please let us know or call our Customer Service hotline on 1300-137-598".
Having finally reached an operator who could hardly speak english, and i whos accent i could barely understand i decided to cancel my order. This was primarily driven, by the very person i was struggling to fully understand, bc she was very annoyed at me requesting a rough timeline of possible delivery, apparently, hoping the advised timeline was at all reliable was simply unreasonable. Considering the items i purchased, were all of a luxury nature, i decisively reaffirmed to myself the basic requirement of the purchase being precisely that, of a luxury standard, hence the lack of hesitation in cancellation.
Once all was apparently confirmed and done by the very annoyed customer support staff member, she finished off the call with an assurance, that the refund will be in my account in 24hours.
I silently scoffed and left the matter be for 4 days. Upon checking for the refund, i wasn't at all surprised to discover it hadnt been paid back. Dialling in again, waiting on hold for a further 48min, before i was connected to another foreign operator with a very similar accent to the one i spoke with last, only to be advised, that the previous operator hadn't infact submitted my paperwork for the refund, the one i was speaking to, however, was going to immediately escalate it and ensure correct and swift completion. Again, check in 24 hours. This time, i waited only 48 hours and checked, the refund was still not paid. Again ringing back, sitting on hold, this time for 1hour and 16minutes before i was connected to the same person who had encouraged the cancellation and facilitated it initially, Hidie. Hidie again went through the same motions and again, it will be absolutely done in 24 hours. Unfortunately, my patience has began to wear thin and i requested to speak to a supervisor. Despite my insistence and absolute lack of resistance to waiting for one to become available, she simply hung up on me. I called back and again waited 33min to get connected to the same person. Despite my best efforts to reassure her that my escalating the matter is not a reflection of her performance, but rather my need to find an accountable individual, someone with a level of authority and know how, to simply explain why there's been such a lack of service and delivery on assurances. This lady, hung up on me again. The crimson i was seeing now, was of a much darker shade, i decided to postpone a call back and cool off, reaching back out to the customer service team 4 hours later. As luck would have it, Heidie answered the call again. Having gone through the all too familiar motions of 24hours etc i simply requested to speak to a supervisor. She proveeded to tell me, there's been a system change and bc customer data hasn't been migrated over to the new system the refund hasnt been processed. However i really shouldn't worry, shes certain in will be, in 24-48 hours from now. Again, i requested to speak to a supervisor, with a distinct intolerance in her voice, she stated ill have to wait on hold till someone becomes available. I very happily assured her it wasnt a problem at all and proceeded to sit on hold for a further 47minutes, only to be hung up on yet again.

So, basically 2 qweks after the order cancellation, numerous intentional hang ups by the newly dubbed customer disservice team... i am no closer to seeing a cent of ny hard earned excess of $250!!!
To say that i am appalled at the ongoing disrespect, lack of regard and basic level of customer-like treatment, would be a mammoth understatement, i must admit, however, at this point, i just want my money back and to never ever hear the name GSD EVER AGAIN.
REALLY THEY SHOULD BE DUBBED: GLOBAL DISASTER DIRECT!!!! SIMPLY DISGUSTING!
