I want you to know about my experience tonight about 6:15 pm.
Well done Riley from Meadowbrook. Your behavior tonight was not acceptable. You do not treat your customers the way you treated me in front of another customer and staff.
Tonight as I went through the drive through I explained to the lady at the window that there was no room to park in front. She said,"Park beside." She walked away as I was talking. A little unsure if they would know where to deliver our order, my daughter and I kept an eye out for your staff member and when we saw her come out and return inside with an order, we called out. She said are you parked and we confirmed we were and repeated our order.
After a brief moment I decided to go inside and ask about my order. 3 girls were standing around discussing a mixed up order and while I waited patiently they continued to go on. I had to call them over and explained we haven't received our order.
I explained that I was waiting for..... and she replied it's right here, we are short on staff!!! I pulled a confused face because there was 3 girls standing around a one person in the restaurant waiting and my meal sitting on the bench, how long had it sat there? Was it cold? I said nothing.
Out of no where this woman says to me, "Don't be so rude." I replied, "I beg your pardon, you are the being rude." She then continued to say that I was rude and she had under age staff here. This confrontation went on for sometime. I was about to walk away but thought this is not acceptable!!!! I asked to speak to the manager. She (The same woman) walked over and said, "I am the manager." I said what is on your badge? She grabbed her badge and said, "You don't need to see my badge." I was able to read her badge and it said Riley.
Not sure what Hungry Jacks are teaching their managers!!! I have never been treated like this before. I was so embarrassed and will be seeking legal advice. I have never wanted to complain about food or service from any company because I know about staffing and other issues they are confronted with.
Actually if Riley knew me she would never have reacted in the way she did. You see, I'm the person who would say, "That's okay. Thanks for everything you are doing. I appreciate being able to get takeaway. Good work guys."
Oh and by the way, I could only give this review if I gave you 1 star. I didn't want to give you any!!!!
25 minute wait for burnt burgers and a customer service officer who finds it “hard to believe” the burnt burgers weren’t eaten and is refusing refund even with photos.
If you lodge a complaint don’t expect a reply anytime soon. I’ve phoned & lodged the on line form twice a week apart & all I hear are the sounds of crickets!!
At about 6:15 tonight I went to hungry jacks Wynnum.
My order was
1x chicken royal
1 Perri perri chicken crisp with extra perri perri sauce
1x 3nugget a chips cup
1x smokey Angus large meal
I was first in line at the drive though for about 15 minutes waiting for my meal. I then drove to the car park and went inside due to my chips and nuggets were completely cold and my perri perri burger was missing. I then went inside and waited 35 mins inside to get that fixed and served. On the other side of me were about 8-9 Uber orders waiting.
I was finally served and the lady was completely lovely and wanted to help and fixed it straight away. She was very apologetic. I then went back to the car and drove home to see that my 2 of my burgers had no lettuce. No extra sauce. No tomato. I paid for 3 burgers and two out of three were just sauce and meat. I have photos of my burgers to show. I then have been calling the store since I left and still no one has answered the phone. I’ve had 6 phone calls.
Also inside each side of the hot box (not in heat) was mountains for burgers just stilling there the whole time I was inside which means cold Burgers have been handed out the whole time to everyone. (not to mention health and safety of all those items as I was there for 35 minutes and it was all sitting there and those burgers being there before I was even inside) The girls were just moving the mountains Of burgers until finding a burger which would fit the order and yell out to the boys if the one they wanted wasn’t there. The manger was completely rude to every single person that came up with an issue with their order as I watched about 5 customers come up with issues. Not a single person got offered a refund. He told one lady that it wasn’t something he could fix after she said she had been waiting for her order off Uber for over an hour. She wanted a refund and he said well I can’t fix this here you need to talk to Uber and walked off. Then the Uber guys said he was the one with her order still waiting in line. So she just left with no sorry, no refund no food. The Uber guy then said the order is still on his screen and the hunger jacks manger then said well it’s cancel on my end so can’t do anything. Just as the Uber was leaving he’s like never mind here it is. Then the Uber said it wasn’t correct and the manager said yes it is. Then finally looked after arguing with the Uber and realised he did give him the wrong one. This is in-front of 10+ customers and ubers. I’ve never ever seen such bad manners and customers service ever at hungry jacks.
I will be expecting a response and full refund!
Thanks for going to the option of no cash payments for food . I have no other way of paying except cash. My family is now going hungry tonight. Thanks a F***ING lot
