Had the misfortune recently to purchase 8 Royal Gala apples on two consecutive
weeks from Coles Fountain-gate Victoria.
Discovered over the subsequent days that the apples were rotten when I prepared them for eating.
Made the produce staff (female) at Coles Fountain-gate aware of the purchase of rotten apples. I was treated with indifference and dismissed out of hand. The Coles representative stated that she couldn't see inside the apples.
I'm aware that she would not have Xray vision, but the respond coupled with the rotten produce was insulting.
This is not what I expect from Coles staff being a loyal customer for over 50 years.
I wasn't impressed with the customer service. I will in future shop at local greengrocers situated near Coles.

On Saturday I went to Coles Casey Central. There were trollies all over the place. No assistant or sanitising station. So overcrowded I left and went to Woolies. No crowd management at all. The trolley retrieval assistant shoved the trollies in the door and left in an aggressive manner. I phoned the store when I got home and Jason hung up in my ear. I phoned the police. There was a serious Covid breach. I will not shop in that store again. Neither will my neighbours.
